Color Revolutions Defined

From Myanmar to the former Soviet vassal states, from Egypt and Libya to the Ukraine and now the Sudan, the powers that be are engineering regime change disguised as popular uprisings to suit their nefarious purposes.

Crowds from the targeted countries fill the streets waving flags and banners of a distinctive color like the 2004 Orange Revolution in Ukraine.

The current D.C. regime has now induced Color Revolutions inside the U.S. in an attempt to flip targeted Republican "red states," decapitate the opposition, and eliminate the people who could foment a counter-revolution.

From Tennessee to Montana, red-state governments are under attack. Traitors from within align with enemies from without under rainbow banners.

Color Me Yours

(Source: The American Mind)

Color revolutions have finally come to the United States, courtesy of our leaders. The target is clear: weak red state governments which are going to be toppled, one by one....
The handful of states still resisting the regime are dissident traitors, doing what they can to stop the onslaught of vibrant progress everywhere, all at once. They’re like the French Resistance blowing up a few train tracks here and there across the countryside—just enough to enrage the enemy, but not enough to force a surrender, let alone stop all the trains.

 Traitors Within

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men (and women). He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

Those Who Are Secretly Conspiring with Communist Agitators to Overthrow the American Republic

A handful of vocal communist agitators in collaboration with the wide-open-border, cheap-labor-loving, Chamber of Commerce Republicans are conspiring to flip red states and eliminate all opposition to the communist takeover and imposition of the UN 2030 agenda for world government.

But how does that strategy really work?

Migration as a Weapon

Millions of illegal aliens from 160 countries all over the world – China to Africa – are staging through Mexico to overrun the southern border. The Border Patrol has been ordered to stand down and help load the invaders into buses and planes for destinations across America. Every town in the country is now a border town destined to become a third world hell-hole complete with third-world diseases and fentanyl pipelines.

I don’t fault the aspirations of the teeming mass of humanity seeking a better life. But I also see the criminal dregs of society, the predators, terrorists and human traffickers hidden and mixed among their prey. I see layers of evil, where the people at the bottom are grist for the mill of chaos, mere cannon fodder in the ensuing battles. The next layer are the foot soldiers of the revolution – the orchestrators, grifters and enablers, the religious NGOs, Catholic and Lutheran Charities raking in hundreds of millions of dollars from the coffers of the productive US taxpayer.

Little do these “useful idiots” know (to use the Marxist term of art) that they will be the next to die as the revolution consolidates its victory. All the front-line perpetrators must disappear to eliminate future witnesses to crimes against humanity.

I don’t write these observations from a detached and lofty perspective in the Mountains of Montana.

This is not my first rodeo.

I have been there.

I lived years in Texas and have been through the border towns from Brownsville/Matamoros to El Paso/Juarez where I lived for a time and season with a strange attraction for the place. I lived years in southern California and have trolled through the cardboard cities of Tijuana. I have driven a thousand miles down the Pacific coast of Mexico and traversed the high and low deserts. There were always masses of shifting people, camping on the beaches and on the move – the society with a soft exterior, the nice people trying to live their lives, raise their families and get along. But beneath the surface the scorpion lurked, the pervasive swarming tension of the cities and life on the streets – diesel fumes and an astonishing 65% rate of alcoholism among city women – a coping mechanism in a hectic existence. It seemed then that the only thing keeping the lid on revolution were the government subsidized tortilleria in every town and village and cheap gas and diesel from Pemex.

The border towns were always the worst, providing easy access to all the vices known to mankind and in no way indicative of a vast, complex and beautiful country and its diverse people. Mexico has its own dark substratum – the dreadful history of the Aztec Empire based on human sacrifice and cannibalism, a brutality we see outplayed in the drug and human trafficking cartels today.

I have been there.

I have have lived in Athens and traveled through Greece during the military coup, when a junta of colonels took over the government and martial law prevailed.

There was not a smile to be seen on the face of any Greek citizen until you got out to the islands of the Aegean Sea.

April 21, 1967: Military Junta Places Greece in Shackles

On April 21, 1967, Greece woke up to a military junta taking over power. The colonels at the head of this brutal regime ended up putting the country in shackles for seven years.
For Greeks, it is a date they would like to erase from their history. For the people who were jailed and tortured, it is a date that brings back unpleasant memories and nightmares even half a century later.

I have been there.

I have been on the border of Pakistan as six million refugees pored into India during the monsoon to escape the war that gave birth to Bangladesh. Unspeakable misery heaped on untold, unimaginable misery that I would like to erase from my memory.

(More on the Indo-Pakistan War)

These are some of my bona fides and qualifications for this exposition so you will know this is not simply some blogger’s regurgitation of internet news, an old codger’s rant – a simple seller of Painted Mountain Corn Seed.

I have lived several lifetimes rolled into one and am compelled to share some of the nuggets I have gleaned from this passage.

Truth be told, coupled with my foresight of what is yet to come, I feel like William Shirer in the year I was born, reporting from Berlin in 1939 on the Nazi invasion of Poland.

"Berlin Diary (1934-1941) is a first-hand account of the rise of the Third Reich and its road to war, as witnessed by the American journalist William L. Shirer. Shirer, a radio reporter for CBS, covered Germany for several years until the Nazi press censors made it impossible for him to report objectively to his listeners in the United States; feeling increasingly uncomfortable, he left the country." A young Polish boy returns to what was his home and squats among the ruins during a pause in the German air raids on Warsaw, Poland, in September of 1939. German attacks lasted until Warsaw surrendered on September 28. One week later, the last of the Polish forces capitulated near Lublin, giving full control of Poland to Germany and the Soviet Union.

The Wall Street corporatocracy will have an endless supply of easily manipulated cheap labor to replace the American worker.

The too big to fail New York banks will continue to scoop up the collapsed regional banks that fund Main Street America. The productive middle class will be ruined by the ensuing credit squeeze thus eliminating an entire segment of enemies of the never ending revolution.

What is there not to like about the no-borders-at-all policy from the communist collaborating Chamber of Commerce and woke Wall Street?

Unintended Consequences
World War III Underway

There are always unintended consequences from the unpredictable second and third order effects from invasion and the dawning realization of great numbers of American Patriots that World War III is underway and that it has been for some time.

Turning Plowshares Into Swords

Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus was a Roman consul (460 BCE) and dictator (458 and 439 BCE), a legendary figure in the early days of the Roman Republic. He responded to a call from the city fathers, left his plow lying in the fields, donned his senatorial toga, and led the Roman army to victory over the invading Aequi, only to return to his small farm 15 days later. For generations, he served as the symbol to Romans young and old of what a loyal citizen ought to aspire. (Source:

The Cincinnatus Effect

We are all Cincinnatus.
Legions of American patriots rise to the occasion in a call to arms.
They find the enemies weapons and turn them against him.
They get down in the weeds and start from the bottom up, finding the school boards and choke points of society where the communists have ensconced themselves.
They create intelligence studies to identify the threats in their local Area of Operation (AO).

How to Build an Area Study for Emergencies and Community Security

I highly recommend Samuel Culper/Mike Shelby’s intelligence shop, Forward Observer. Read his article on How to Build an Area Study... Find out what you don’t know about what you don’t know because you are not asking the right questions. Here are some excerpts:

One of the big reasons why I encourage students to build an Area Study is so we have a framework through which to understand our neighborhood and broader community. Organizing community security before or during an emergency is a lot like building a house. We need expert builders, we need quality materials, and we need to have a plan. This Area Study informs our team of the conditions, the fault lines, vulnerabilities, active and potential threats, and the who, what, and where that matters during an emergency. We need to make well-informed, time-sensitive, and mission-critical decisions during a natural disaster or other emergency, so we need local intelligence to help us make the best decisions….

What we’ve just covered are the six layers of the Operating Environment, which is a formal way of saying the six factors that affect our operations. I recommend dividing your Area Study into the following six layers:

  • Physical Terrain (maps; mountains, rivers, bridges, etc. that could affect you)
  • Human Terrain (the beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and culture of the people around you)
  • Critical Infrastructure (the things that keep your world spinning)
  • Politics & Governance (the people who make decisions that could affect you)
  • Military/Security/Law Enforcement (the people with guns and badges who could affect you)
  • Economics & Finance (the companies and money interests that could affect you)

These six layers inform us of various aspects of our community and the better we understand them, the better we can anticipate future events or conditions. Furthermore, once we understand the threats in our area, we can determine how these characteristics of our community will affect us and these threats. For instance, looters are probably going to look for soft targets with high payoff. If I have a soft target with a high reward in my community, then I might consider ‘looting’ to be on my list of potential threats…

Rules for Radicals

According to Alinsky, the organizer, especially a paid organizer from outside, must first overcome suspicion and establish credibility. Next the organizer must begin the task of agitating: rubbing resentments, fanning hostilities, and searching out controversy. This is necessary to get people to participate. An organizer has to attack apathy and disturb the prevailing patterns of complacent community life where people have simply come to accept a bad situation. Alinsky would say, "The first step in community organization is community disorganization."

Through a process combining hope and resentment, the organizer tries to create a "mass army" that brings in as many recruits as possible from local organizations, churches, services groups, labor unions, corner gangs, and individuals.

Alinsky provides a collection of rules to guide the process. But he emphasizes these rules must be translated into real-life tactics that are fluid and responsive to the situation at hand.

Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.

Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people.
The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.

Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.

Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. "You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity."

Rule 5: Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It's hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. "If your people aren't having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic."

Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.

Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage."

Rule 9: The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself. When Alinsky leaked word that large numbers of poor people were going to tie up the washrooms of O'Hare Airport, Chicago city authorities quickly agreed to act on a longstanding commitment to a ghetto organization. They imagined the mayhem as thousands of passengers poured off airplanes to discover every washroom occupied. Then they imagined the international embarrassment and the damage to the city's reputation.

Rule 10: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Avoid being trapped by an opponent or an interviewer who says, "Okay, what would you do?"

Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don't try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. "The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength."

Finally, in his own words, Alinsky reveals who he aligns himself with:

Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins - or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom - Lucifer.

3. The Cloward Piven Strategy

Download the full eBook in PDF format: DOWNLOAD

The end goal of the Cloward-Piven strategy is the creation of a political crisis leading to a guaranteed annual income. Essentially, the Cloward-Piven strategy would lead to the complete control of citizens through Socialism/Communism….

The four steps of the Cloward-Piven Strategy:

  1. Overload and Break the Welfare System
  2. Have Chaos Ensue
  3. Take Control in the Chaos
  4. Implement Socialism and Communism through Government Force

Their “ultimate aim of this strategy is a new program for direct income distribution”, also known throughout history as Socialism/Communism which has led to the death, despair, and depravity of hundreds of millions….

As a background, Frances Fox Piven is a professor of political science and sociology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. The late Richard Cloward was an sociologist and liberal activist, and Piven’s spouse.

"Most Americans to this day have never heard of Cloward and Piven. But for most Americans who believe in a Free Market society, you must get to know them and their socialist agenda. In their manifesto they seek to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. They calculated that persuading even a fraction of potential welfare recipients to demand their entitlements would bankrupt the system. As a result, they predicted, would be "a profound financial and political crisis" that would unleash "powerful forces for major economic reform at the national level." With carefully orchestrated media campaigns, carried out by friendly, left-wing journalists, would float the idea of "a federal program of income redistribution," in the form of a guaranteed living income for all -- working and non-working people alike. Local officials would clutch at this idea like drowning men to a lifeline. They would apply pressure on Washington to implement it. With every major city erupting into chaos, Washington would have to act. As we are seeing NOW..."

This was an example of what are commonly called Trojan Horse movements — mass movements whose outward purpose seems to be providing material help to the downtrodden, but whose real objective is to draft poor people into service as revolutionary foot soldiers; to mobilize poor people en masse to overwhelm government agencies with a flood of demands beyond the capacity of those agencies to meet. The flood of demands was calculated to break the budget, jam the bureaucratic gears into gridlock, and bring the system crashing down. Fear, turmoil, violence and economic collapse would accompany such a breakdown—providing perfect conditions for fostering radical change. That was the theory….

3. The Citizen's Handbook

Putting it all together.

An innocuously appearing compendium on community organizing but in reality it is the enemy with a thousand faces.

The current landing page features The Dictator's Playbook with a most excellent article on The Dictator's Handbook, Why Bad Behaviour is almost always Good Politics.

Here is an excerpt on Rules Ruling Rulers:

For political survival in any system there are five basic rules for leaders:

Rule 1: Keep your winning coalition as small as possible. A small coalition allows a leader to rely on very few people to stay in power. Fewer essentials equals more control and contributes to more discretion over expenditures.

Rule 2: Keep your nominal electorate as large as possible. A large nominal electorate permits a big supply of substitute supporters to put the essentials on notice that they should be loyal and well behaved or else face being replaced.

Rule 3: Control the flow of revenue. It’s always better for a ruler to determine who eats than it is to have a larger pie from which the people can feed themselves. The most effective cash flow for leaders is one that makes lots of people poor and redistributes money to keep their supporters wealthy.

Rule 4: Pay your key supporters just enough to keep them loyal. Remember, your backers would rather be you than be dependent on you. Your big advantage over them is that you know where the money is and they don’t. Give your coalition just enough so that they don’t shop around for someone to replace you and not a penny more.

Rule 5: Don’t take money out of your supporter’s pockets to make the people’s lives better. The flip side of rule 4 is not to be too cheap toward your coalition of supporters. If you’re good to the people at the expense of your coalition, it won’t be long until your “friends” will be gunning for you.

Coming to Power

To come to power a challenger need only do three things. First, he must remove the incumbent. Second, he needs to seize the apparatus of government. Third, he needs to form a coalition of supporters sufficient to sustain him as the new incumbent. Each of these actions involves its own unique challenges, the relative ease of which differs between democracies and autocracies.

There are three ways to remove an incumbent leader….

The Citizens Handbook is a rich source of active measures with practical advise and examples on how to draw idealistic people in deeper and deeper to become foot soldiers of the revolution. Digging through the layers of veneer on the website, this kernel is revealed:

IAF Organizing

The Industrial Areas Foundation probably does the best grassroots organizing in the US. Legendary organizer Saul Alinsky (See Rules for Radicals) set up in the IAF in the 70’s to train organizers. The IAF still emphasizes the training of organizers. But it has shed its confrontational approach and adopted negotiation and compromise as the main way of meeting the needs of low income people. The IAF has been instrumental in increasing wages, providing housing, and improving schools in poor neighbourhoods. This is not the place to spell out the IAF’s accomplishments or the details of its approach to organizing. But it is worthwhile summarizing a number of highly successful IAF methods that differ from those usually found in community organizing. Anyone interested in a more complete rendering of IAF practices should read Mark Warren’s excellent book Dry Bones Rattling, Community Building to Revitalize American Democracy. The IAF organizes through church networks Much of IAF organizing occurs through Christian churches particularly the Catholic church. Because of this, it is often called faith-based organizing. The IAF taps existing parish networks to find the people it needs to achieve its goals. (This approach resembles the way successful social movements co-opt existing communications networks; see Social Movements: A Summary of What Works at In Texas, the IAF obtained the support of the bishop, who then encouraged parishes to join the IAF. The congregations of these parishes contribute dues to the IAF and volunteer for IAF campaigns. If the community organizing through churches seems unusual, remember not so long ago church and community where intimately intertwined. Every community of place was also a community of faith. The IAF is working to broaden its organizing beyond church networks. It has begun developing relationships with secular institutions such as schools, health care providers and unions. Tapping church networks solves the mobilization problem.…

Had enough?

We have a lot of catching up to do.

Communists have been working on the takeover of America for decades and generations while we have simply wanted to be left alone to raise our families, build our communities and employ our God-given ingenuity and talents under the blessings of liberty.

At this late hour, the country that I grew up in and that I served appears lost.

But I hear yet another summons and rise while I yet have breath to share some of the tools from my chest that might help in the battles for the soul, if not all of the geography, of our country.

Until next time, stay safe my brothers and sisters and with a hat tip to Ol’Remus RIP, “Stay away from crowds."
